Christy Boccabella-Brown

Christy Boccabella-Brown Christy Boccabella-Brown is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Certified Vocational Evaluator and the President and Founder of PlacementWorks. Christy founded PlacementWorks in 2000 while working as a Vocational Evaluator and Licensed Mental Health Counselor for Vocational Rehabilitation. Christy’s philosophy of “there is a job for everyone” was established while finding employment for individuals with mental health diagnoses. Her experience taught her the strong connection and relationship between improved employment and improved mental health. Christy is a passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities and can proudly state that PlacementWorks achieved a 92% successful outcome rate for their clients this past year, a testament to the great staff she has assembled and to her leadership!

Mona Burrows

Mona Burrows PlacementWorks is very pleased to welcome Mona Burrows to our team of professionals! Ms. Burrows has extensive experience as a specialist in coaching and sales.

Mona has worked with speakers from all over the world, including persons who have physical, emotional and/or behavioral challenges. Her foremost passion is assisting and inspiring others to achieve the best results possible in all aspects of life, but especially in meaningful employment. Mona brings over 25 years of knowledge, enthusiasm and experience to our PlacementWorks team!

Carrie Dunn

Carrie Dunn is the Office Manager for PlacementWorks and has been employed with PlacementWorks for 4 years. Carrie retired after 35 years with the State of Florida where 30 years of her employment was with Vocational Rehabilitation. Carrie’s experience with the State gives her a wealth of knowledge from both a practical and administrative standpoint. Another interesting and important fact about Carrie is that she is the granddaughter of the notorious Louise Graham of The Louise Graham Training Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Carrie’s heritage provides her with the strong perspective of seeing the capabilities of individuals with disabilities!

Steve Brown

Steve Brown Steve Brown is a Master Electrician with extensive experience in assisting individuals entering the work world. In 1994, he was contracted through the Department of Education, Career Opportunity Center. He provided community-based work experience and community-based work evaluations for students seeking employment opportunities in the construction trade industry. In 2004, Steve began working with PlacementWorks, where he developed community-based work sites for individuals with disabilities to participate in realistic and simulated onsite work evaluations with actual employers. In 2006, Steve not only began providing all phases of job coaching services, but as a certified CPR instructor, he provided training and certification for those applicable consumers to facilitate and enhance their potential to secure employment. Along with Steve’s expertise, is his desire to assist individuals with disabilities to become successfully employed by focusing on their capabilities. Steve is a definite asset to PlacementWorks and to the individuals we serve!

Steve Banks

Steve Banks Steve Banks is one of the newest members of the PlacementWorks team. Mr. Banks has vast work experience in wholesale, retail, security and in sports arena employment. His familiarity with many industries facilitates community wide job development and the ability to reach out to a variety of employers.

Steve’s involvement with persons with disabilities is very personal. For at least thirteen (13) years, Steve volunteered as a work assistant and job coach to his uncle and helped him to reach his full potential as one of the original workers at PARC’s employment program. Steve’s passion to assist persons with disabilities to achieve their goals sparked his desire to work with PlacementWorks.
